ALPHA Homes opens newly extended Head Office

Councillor Moira McLaughlin, the Mayor of Wirral, formally opened the newly extended Head Office of ALPHA Homes, in Thursby House, Bromborough, Wirral on Tuesday 31^st January 2012.

ALPHA Homes is a registered housing association that provides quality affordable apartments for the elderly, in sheltered schemes, throughout Wirral and the North West. 

ALPHA Homes is based in Bromborough and has accommodation in 11 schemes throughout the Wirral area. During the last 15 months ALPHA Homes has also acquired further schemes in Winsford, Bury, Macclesfield, Newcastle-under-Lyme and St Helens.

In early 2012, ALPHA Homes has plans for further acquisitions in Leeds, Dewsbury and Telford, giving it a total of 21 schemes, comprising of 772 properties.

The Chairman of ALPHA Homes, Philip Halliday, expressed his thanks for the support from his Board and staff for their hard work in ensuring this impressive expansion programme, which has seen ALPHA Homes quadruple in size, in less than 3 years.

He further added, ‘Many of the recently acquired schemes faced potential closure and therefore it is always very rewarding when you can see what ALPHA Homes brings to them and the tenants’.
